We are living in some trying times. All around us we hear the voices of despair, and some have felt the sting of these perilous days with job lay-offs, rising prices and the looming fear of how will they ever make ends meet. In times like these, the enemy of our soul loves to breed thoughts of doubt that seek to undermine our faith, in an attempt to dash our hope, and bring us into a place of great depair. More now than at any time in the past, we need to know who we are in Christ Jesus and latch on to the precious promises that have been given to us. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:35 that there is a great reward that comes from holding on to our confidence and warns us not to cast it away! Don't give in to the enemy and his thoughts of doubt and despair, know who you are and whose you are and stand firm in that confidence!
