What a blessing it is to reflect on what our heavenly Father has done for us by sending Jesus to come to the Earth and take our sin and sickness upon Himself. To identify with our humanity and stand in our place as our substitute, paying the price for our redemption and giving us the right to become sons and daughters of the Most High God through the acceptance of His Son Jesus the Christ, The Anointed One!

Simple reflection of this thought takes us to the place of thanking Him for what He has saved us from, and it's good to remember where we've come from. However, many stay right there with that line of thinking and fail to come into a deeper understanding of redemption.

When we think of the word "saved" we think of deliverance, liberation, and a rescuing. But, it's time for us to move from the mind set of what we've been saved from or out of, which keeps us focused on the past - the turmoil, heartache, pain and mistakes. As believer's, we need to move on to a mind set of what we've been saved to; The victory, the blessing, our inheritance and the right of intimate covenant personal relationship with God Almighty!

Oh, what we've been saved to!!! Oh, what a glorious inheritance that belongs to the child of God!!! Now, right there as you read that statement, many of you just thought of heaven. "Yes brother, one day we will leave this world of sorrows and go to our heavenly home." Yes, that is true, and it is a biblical fact, but I'm not talking about our future in heaven, I'm talking about a realization of what belongs to us as our inheritance, right now, while we're here on the earth!

Did you know that you can enjoy some of heaven right here on the earth? Did you know that you are already a member of the heavenly family? Ephesians 3:14-15 reads: "For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named." Yes, that's right, you're already a family member, if you are born-again, and you have a right to expect family benefits while you're here on the earth.

In John 16:33, Jesus said: "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." When adversity comes and it will, Jesus wants us to remember that He's already dealt with it, and we're not in it alone.

He has given us the right to come through it in His power and experience the victory. Instead of the fear and the roller coaster of emotional ups and downs life can sometimes bring, by coming to grips with this truth, these can be replaced by the reality of peace that true faith in His Word can bring.

We need to begin to take on a victory mentality, a resurrection power mentality. The devil has brow beat the church long enough. It's time for the body of Christ to rise up and take it's rightful place, living out the benefits as son's and daughters of the Most High God. Instead of hearing about demon oppression within the church, the devil ought to be screaming about all of the Christian oppression he's having to deal with!!!

In Philippians 3:10 Paul relates this wonderful key; "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection." Paul understood this and was continually pressing in to know Him more and experience His power in abundance. Going to the cross, Jesus took our sin and sickness and paid the price for our redemption. In His resurrection, He gave us the power and the right to live out the victory that was purchased for us. We need to begin to look at all of our troubles and circumstances in the light of His resurrection power! If the grave couldn't hold Him down, then your situations can't hold you down, they must give way to - The power of His resurrection! (After all, you're family.)
